Taipei's Gems: Private Yangmingshan & Yehliu Journey

We had a wonderful time with Nicolas Ying. Nicolas is knowledgeable of the histories of all the places we visited, and went above and beyond to provide us with such a memorable experience. We highly recommend and will book with him again in the future.

My wife and I did this tour with the guide Aaron. It was amazing! On the drive from the city, he explained metros, the suburbs vs city living, mopeds, and more. He went above and beyond to answer any questions we had about Taipei or information he felt important to share. Despite it being extremely hot and humid, Aaron took his time taking pictures of us at the geopark and making jokes along the way. After exploring the beautiful rocks, we drove up to the grasslands where we saw baby buffalo and much more. Once again, Aaron took his time to take pictures and even hike with us to a viewpoint. We also stopped at the sulfur pits, flower path, and at his mom’s favorite restaurant to try mountain chicken. Although we are fairly experienced travelers, it was well worth it to have a careful driver, photographer, and guide like Aaron.

We went with Sean, who was a great tour guide! We enjoyed the short hikes and the weather on this special day. Going in a car means not being at some of these locations when lots of people are getting off the bus at the same time, so you have some time at these magical places to yourselves.

Nicolas, my tour guide was very knowledgeable and service oriented. He was great at pointing out things throughout the trip. His driving skills were also great. He was able to answer all of my questions including things i asked about that i saw on the drive. I would advise spending the majority of your time at the geo park, especially if it rains on the day of your tour. He also gave some additional information about other opportunities in Taiwan.

Enjoyed our tour with Toku (our guide). He shared a lot of information and took awesome photos of our group which was very much appreciated. The lunch place he suggested was delicious - enjoyed the dimsum! Also, we enjoyed riding his Tesla car!

We booked the Yangminshan half day private tour with Richelle in October 2024. She was an amazing guide! The day of our trip it was very rainy and the higher parts of the national park were clouded (basically we could not see a thing through the clouds), which is why we could not visit 2 of the stops of the trip (the grasslands and another point). However, Richelle found amazing alternatives for the 2 spots on lower parts of the mountain. We appreciated her quick thinking, flexibility and creativity. We really recommend Richelle!
